When I first launched DUKE Consulting and Design, the focus was on exploration. My original logo was colorful, creative, and bold. It captured the energy of freelancing, of saying yes to opportunities, and of proving what I could create.

Growth requires evolution. What began as a collection of projects has evolved into a business founded on systems, strategy, and long-term vision. It was time for my brand to reflect that shift...

The new DUKE Consulting and Design identity is deliberate:

• Structured: Blueprint-inspired elements that symbolize frameworks, processes, and solutions designed to last.

• Solemn yet creative: A reminder that consulting and Design are not just about what looks good but about what works.

This is more than a logo change. It is a reintroduction. DUKE Consulting and Design exists to help businesses move with intention, architect solutions that endure, and design experiences that truly connect. 

I have grown from being a creator to being a builder of systems. This new identity is my commitment:

I bring a diverse range of experiences and qualifications to the field of UX design. With five productive years of service in the United States Navy, I have honed my technical skills and expertise. I completed the Cisco Network Specialist program at Augusta Technical College, enhancing my proficiency in system operations and customer support.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience administering Cisco Unified Communications environments and supporting various platforms. From managing and maintaining Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning to implementing Cisco Contact Centers and troubleshooting issues, I have developed a deep understanding of network telecom engineering.

However, my passion for creating exceptional user experiences has driven me to pursue a career change in UX design. I am seeking a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Technical Communication at Texas Tech University to augment my skill set further. I am excited to apply my technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and user-centric mindset to UX design projects. I plan to continue my education with a master's degree in Human Factors Psychology.

Throughout my professional journey, I have excelled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, effectively communicating with clients and peers, and managing projects to ensure successful outcomes. I am proficient in using Windows and MacOS. I actively stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field through continuous learning and professional development.

I am highly motivated, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional results. My experiences in customer service, technical support, and system administration have equipped me with the skills to understand user needs, identify pain points, and design intuitive solutions. I am eager to leverage my diverse background and passion for creating impactful user experiences to excel in a UX design role and contribute to the success of future projects.

Outside of work and studies, you often find me at the gym, engaging in strength training, cardio, and yoga. These practices have helped me cultivate mindfulness and breathwork, enabling me to maintain a positive outlook on life. I firmly believe in the power of "mind over matter" and always strive to make the best of every experience, learning and growing from imperfect situations. Life is meant to be lived, so why wake up every morning only to complain? It's all about finding balance and continuously improving.

Music is another love of mine. Whether playing the piano, trumpet, singing, or simply enjoying music, there is always a song in my mind and heart—my life is a soundtrack!

During my time in the military, I had the opportunity to travel extensively, particularly in the Middle East. This has given me a broad perspective on people and cultures, which I embrace and incorporate into my daily life. Understanding how people think and function drives me, and I'm always curious, asking myself, "Why did you do it that way?!" This curiosity fuels my passion for designing user-centered experiences that truly resonate with people from all backgrounds.
